Good stuff. Worked excellently for betta fin rot. Regrowth underway. It does turn the water very yellow, but doing the recommended water changes and running a carbon filter after treatment gets rid of it quickly. For reference, I have a 5.5 gal. Water was crystal clear within 48 hours of carbon filtration. Had no issues with permanent staining.

Healed my betta!
My betta was having unexplained fin loss, his healed him with just one treatment. I would recommend moving to a smaller tank because each packet of powder is only one dose for a 10 gallon tank and you need multiple doses for a full treatment. Will stain porous plastic (like airlines) yellow.

Does handle bacterial infections very well. Zoanthida recover from fungal infections too! Though an ounce of prevention is way better than a pound of cure where everyone would agree on that point. It’s good that it’s individually packed in pockets, each pocket is good for one use/cup of aquarium water.

Didn't see fin rot results until I used this
I've had a really hard time curing my fish's fin rot. I've used several other medications throughout the year and tried every method suggested, and Furan helped the most. It took nearly a month, but I FINALLY started to see my fish's fins regrow!

Great buy when my local pet store was out and my fish were sick! I had to use the whole box (two times the recommended routine) One fish had one pop-eye and its tank mate had one cloudy eye. Didn't harm any of my snails or crabs. May have led to my serpent star dying (not sure due to timing but read it can harm them) Definitely made the water yellow yellow yellow, so just be aware and dont freak out! Have extra water handy for the recommended water changes.

My little guy Prince was suffering from swim bladder disease... After fasting and salt treatments didn't work I ordered Furan-2 hoping it will relieve his distress. He has been floating on his side and having major difficulty swimming.. His buoyancy was completely off. . After some research on SBD, I learned that he may possibly have a bacterial infection that would need AB.. I am so please to say that with just the initial dose of this product, my princey poo is back to swimming and exploring his tank... He greeted me in the morning like he usually did before he became ill. I am very pleased and I will add this to my fish first aid kit to always have on hand. . I'm positive after this treatment my little guy will be completely healed..

It saved my daughter's betta fish's life.
My daughter's betta suddenly had this huge popped out bubble eye (pop eye) and what looked to be slash marks on its head. No idea what this was caused by. Within 2 days of using this I noticed a huge improvement and less than a week the fish was completely normal. You can not longer get this at any pet store, I would recommend everyone buying this and keeping it in their emergency tank kit.
